Rear fender protection

Just wondering what's some solutions users have used for protecting rock chip and dirt alley. I've seen the curved black wrap sticker piece as well as side skirts be an option, but feel the Elise is one of those cars that looks better without side skirts.

Random browsing did have this piece catch my eye, CURVE WebSite - カーヴ オートデザイン - (Side Wing). Don't think this Curve group still sells, nor would I trust attempting a sale off that site. However did seem like a unique idea that might fit aesthetically for a custom piece.

Last solution might be thicker clear shield.

Side skirts work well for this but will not give 100% protection (close) and if you don't like the look then that's out. I'm not a fan of the curved black wrap stickers but you could do similar with clear or go thicker clear shield. Aside from these options you'll just need to stay off the race track, off gravel, avoid dirt & rocks on the road and use less sticky tires to keep them from throwing so much stuff up on the car.
