Source for Shop manuals

I like to do my own wrenching, have a home lift etc......what is the best source for a 2005 Elise shop manual...I've seen some online pay to download sites but have never used that route.

Anyone have some suggestions....

Not sure if there is a free option somewhere out there, but I picked one up with a set of a few other Lotus things I bought a little while ago. About 400-500 pages for anything you could imagine Elise/Exige related. I'm happy to send you pictures of anything in particular you need, or I'd be willing to sell it to you if you want to PM me an offer.

Google is definitely your friend. The service manuals are available as PDF files.

Owner manual and service manual are both available as a free PDF download. The manuals themselves are listed on lotusgrage.com for less than I ever see them pop up on ebay. I just don't know if those are actually from Lotus or what.

@Reiver - The best source for Lotus workshop manuals is the Lotus Vehicle Service Information site. The site uses your VIN to create a list of pertinent documents including workshop manuals, recalls, software for dealers and printed engine/transmission manuals. The documents are updated as new information becomes available. I recently downloaded all the updates for the workshop manuals with several that had revisions this year. You can get a one-day subscription with unlimited downloads for 26 (about $35 USD).

When I bought some items a little while ago, this binder was part of the lot. Has everything from service codes, to wiring diagrams, to alignment geometry, to where bonding is on the frame.

Let me know if your interested in a hard copy. Not sure how rare they are since I bet Lotus didn't sell them regularly, but haven't seen one like this come up for sale anywhere besides the one I have.

when I was looking for a manual the website Lotus USA used was shut down. I actaully figured out how to give it money and they had to refund me.

I guess the UK one works

I ended up buying the ones on eBay because they are more complete than the free ones around.

At least I printed mine in color............
