I asked Clyde for one when I showed up at the booth; he checked and said they were all out. I was one of the first people to arrive at the booth, so chances are, the only people that got them were ones who attended the press day.

In regards to the earlier comment about gray/silver being dangerous.

Today a study was released showing silve was actually safer.

yeah right! There's probably a study saying that smoking does you no harm.
I suppose that is why they paint all emergency vehicles silver
Cos you can see it so well. LOL

Heres a school project dealing with visablity of spinning colors
(Just in case you decide to accidently brake in a turn)
Oddly the results change based on how fast you are spinning

Color visability

disagree. that picture is from too far away. The article speaks of replectiveness in terms of light catching the car color...

What they mean is that when you are lanes away (not 1/4mi) that sunlight reflects off silver enough to catch an eye mor ethan it does off red.

Now color for color, i agree w/ the red/yellow statements.

but the study was refletivity. Light reflects of metal (ie silver color) better than colors.

At the distance in this picture, you won't see reflective metal down ther - for example, a chrome bumper on one of those cars will look shiny and bright to the driver behind it, but from the perspective of that pciture, will show up merely as gray.

that picture is too small of all the Elises, they look like ants. But thanks for the picture. It's either Graphite Gray, Nightfall Blue or Starlight Black....maybe Ardent Red also.

It's interesting how even a small change in the color affects liking or disliking the color all together. In most pictures, storm titanium seems to be lifeless and lacking a metallic sparkle even though it is metallic. Is it the glommy U.K. weather? Gunmetal on the other hand seems to catch my eye more. Graphite may be worth the $1200 after all....

Are we able to determine what color this Elise is in?

I assumed it was Storm Titanium, but was not able to confirm.
