Video changing elise/exige brake master cylinder

Hey all,

I was never able to find a video on how to specifically change the brake m/c on the elise/exige so another member XM595 kindly directed me to the service manual. I video'd the evolution. Plenty other videos as well on my channel.

So, in real time, how long did the swap take?
Thanks for posting.

Thanks! I would say approx. an hour. It was my first time ever changing this component (as in I have never done it on any vehicle), so if I can do it I would like to think anyone can do it haha. Once you get to the m/c it's just two nuts holding it on and your 2 brake lines!

My pedal didn't seem soft before hand, or if it was I just didn't notice. No fluid leaks, reservoir was still full when I got it home. I could still pump the brakes up but it would loose pressure after releasing, pretty sure it was the m/c seal(s)?

Yea she is the best, we like working on the car together, she is the best looking assistant I could ask for
