What's really cool is that there are many colors missing... I love the fact that Lotus offered so many colors.

That's Autumn Gold. I am almost done with my image, hopefully I got them right!
The new AB!

Chili Red looks like AR after 10 years in the sun with no wax. I had a Fiat Spyder that color, otherwise referred to as "Tomato Soup".

Still, Solar Blue, Canyon Red, Aspen White and Solar Yellow are beautiful additions. WTG Lotus!

You're just jealous because all the girls will flock to my pink Elise.

Perhaps in a few year all the AB and AG owners in North America can get together and share a couple of pizzas.

Chili Red will probably be fairly popular, although it's not even close to the beauty of BRP, RIP.

Krypton Green looks great in the flesh, especially on an Exige.

That's my wife's favorite color. She was bummed that I didn't order that, until she saw one two houses down the street. She still thought it was gorgeous, she just didn't want to be the "second" on the block with a KG Elise.

Man, that Canyon Red looks HOT! Wonder if it's as nice as BRP? The CO in that photo doesn't look that great, and I'm a fan of CO, but have never seen it in person. In a group with all the other colors though, the orange isn't doing it for me.

Hi-rez photo please!

Am I the only one who winced when he saw this image?

In the back of my mind I'm thinking "The damned alarm is going to go off...".

Newport European has a Polar Blue one, if anyone in the area is interested in seeing that color in person. I don't know if is waiting to be delivered to someone, or not, so it may not be there long.

Can someone please take nice pictures of this color... I'm glad it wasn't available for 2005... I would have been in a color-quandry between my current Graphite Grey and Polar Blue...

I still maintain that if you haven't seen the color, you can't bash it

We should have an Atlanta get together sometime in the next few weeks. I've got my AB up in Dekalb for awhile (it commutes between Tampa and Atlanta) so I figure I ought to try and convert some of the locals here to the color... although since they've deleted the color I guess there's not much point (except as an excuse to get together and hoist a pint or three). Of course, you never know... you may surprise yourselves and actually like it or something

Really,
I don't get what's so offensive about the AB.
I mean even on my signature I put a ? next to AB.
To me, it propably looks better than White.
Hey, what the hell do I know?

Ah, it's just easy to smack down because the early pictures did it no justice and there were never any examples on lots for people to see. Like I said before, most people haven't even seen the color, so what is there to go on?

A lot of the people I talk to are actually really impressed with the color when they see it in the flesh. I even had a couple of kids in a battered truck near the georgia/florida border come up to me at a gas station and excitedly exclaim "I *REALLY* like the color of your elise!"... it about blew my mind because 1) they knew what it was 2) When questioned it turned out they'd seen about a half dozen of them in the Valdosta area 3) they had good taste

Seriously though, I'm glad I got it. It was a hard choice, especially since it was the one color I hadn't seen when I decided on it. I just couldn't bring myself to own another black or silver car. Besides, it doesn't really matter what color elise you get, since the spectrum shift kicks in along with the second cams and everything turns different shades as red and blue become imbalanced....

I think I need to rest now before I make some sort of optical physics based haiku
