CT & MA People-re: 02/20

Hope I'm not breaking any rules posting here instead of in the "Meets & Events" forum. I know I wasn't aware of that area until recently, so...

I'm planning to go on the 20th. Is anyone else from here? Or even NY. Thought we could all meet up and head over together. Anyone going?

It shouldn't take that long to get there. If so, I may reconsider!

Folks,

According to Mapquest you're looking at a 2 1/2 hour trip from Bethel. Certainly not a manditory overnight stay but if you do, there are some excellent B and B's in the area.

Yeah, the overnight stay wasn't for the drive, I have some other things to do in MD.

Anyone coming from this way that wants to meet up for the drive? I should be leaving Ronkonkoma by 9:30am or so.

Robert,

We spoke earlier about this and it turns out I am commmited to be in south-east MA Sat through---??? and cannot make it. I would like to be kept posted on VA to MA events. I plan to join a local chapter and do my best to participate.

My sucsess with the Alfa Club was abismal, seemed like I could never find time. From what I've gleaned from this site the people into Lotus seem outstanding on the whole. Creative, entertaing, kind, giving, crazy and all those good things. I am looking forward to meeting as many as possible.

Heidi,
You may want to call Mark at HRM. He is planning on attending. I will be there tommorow for the 1000 mile service. We are not sure we will be able to attend due to business. BTW we live in Easton.
Cheers neighbor.

Wow! Seems like Fairfield County has a large share of Elise's. I know I was asked to go to HRM tomorrow to take pics of a gull wing installation by the buyer. Who knows - perhaps there'll be a mini-meet there.

So there are 2 SF's in the immediate area. Overcrowded for sure.

I figure it's a 2.5 hour drive, allow .5 hours for the unexpected - should cross into New York about 9:30 am. Where would you be crossing paths- later of course. Give me a time, I'll be there!
