Bought a new house a year ago and remodeled the entire inside to please wifey. I finally got to the garage because Stormi (Evora’s name) hated the horrible blood red the previous owner painted it. And yes, they straight up used wall paint on the floor and hot tires peeled it up everywhere.

Installing a split AC system, wall cabinets, work bench, and wall decor is next on the list. Convinced the wife that Stormi doesn’t like the heat and needs a climate controlled environment. 😂

Garage
So you traded up from the Yamaha to the Evora! That must also be a huge trade up. Glad the wife is so accommodating. Her Porsche?

Still have the Wolverine. We have 2.5 acres so use that to maintain the property. It got pushed to the other garages when we got Stormi. The Cayenne is my daily driver.

Blood red....what were the last owners thinking?!?

Looks liek a really nice start, is the floor racedeck? How do you handle the threshold where the garage door closes?

I really like your other buildings, those would be the garages I would redo for myself, Haha.

Thanks! I know right?!? I have no idea. They did some really weird stuff. Spent a year remodeling the entire home. It’s a GarageTrac floor which is owned by and is almost the same thing as RaceDeck but a little cheaper. Both come from the same factory. I started a row just to the door tracks. Then I cut shaped around the tracks and used the 3” curved pieces they make at the threshold. I already have a 1” raise so those helped. The door closes perfectly now. There was a slight gap before that and bugs and lizards could enter. Didnt even have to adjust the force screw back any.

The install was easy but the main garage is like 800sqft so I killed my knees stomping 6,000 lock clips together 😂

I thought about redoing the metal garages because I’d have clearance for a lift... but I’d have to insulate them first. Tough to be out there in Florida weather. So I decided on the main garage so I could put AC in it. It’s already insulated. I’ll probably upgrade the metal garages later. For now they hold the extra toys and trailers, and all my junk (as the wife calls it lol).

Wow. Very nice on the threshold.
Insulation and AC is definitely a must. I am in WI and did the same to my shed.
