Hah! Greg's spinning a new rev for me. Not saying anything yet but I may have something new for everyone when that arrives.

Greg had a busy week last week so we didn't make much headway, but he just sent out the (what I believe will be) final plastic rev to me. So, moving on to the next phase, getting the tooling ready for aluminum. I've started a group buy thread here:
https://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f95...8/#post5939580

There's been interest on this thread, and we have some idea from the poll, but having an actual list is going to help us set price and options, so please specify your interest there. This thing is getting closer!

Unsure, we haven't tested it with that or ShiftR111. I'm not really sure what the LETSLA changes, but if your shifter post is the same and the linkage attaches to the post at the same height(or lower), and if your side-to-side throw is identical to stock, it might work. I need to confirm with Greg how we're going to handle cases where buyers have these mods. We may just send you a unit & if it doesn't work out, return it...but I'll get back to you on that.

Quick update so people aren't left wondering - Greg is setting up the tooling for aluminum now. He mentioned that this process could take awhile, so I won't have anything to report until that happens. Hopefully my next post will be shots of the real deal :-)

Also my car's going down for a few weeks for some work, so I may not be able to get it on the road right away, but I should at least be able to post some good photos of it installed.

You'd have to use the stock crossgate setting, if there is an exact match.

please add me in the list for 1. Is it possible to make a design that still allows the boot? I'm trying to find a pic I saved years ago, but something like this... with Exige engraved on the plate.

Added!

Re: using it with a boot, that hasn't been a design criteria. Not sure what you'd gain using the gated plate with a boot, apart from the side-to-side slop reduction when in gear. You might be able to drape a boot over the plate, though you'd have to rig up your own rod mount since this mod removes the reverse lockout.

I see what you mean. I just like having the leather boot, kind of like in the picture i uploaded. I just liked the look of it more.

is there any way to have the plate have the size /shape/contours of the one in the picture i uploaded? it covers the top surface more and has a hole for the emergency lights. I apologize for not weighing in earlier as I didnt see this thread till now. It may be too late now.

Greg's machinist is setting up for tooling, so big changes aren't super feasible unfortunately. Another thing to keep in mind is that the aluminum billet would have to be much larger to cover the switches as well - meaning higher cost(and I think the various models may have different switch configurations wrt to traction control, so that'd introduce complexity as well). I'd actually considered doing it that way initially, but decided against it to keep cost and complexity down.

Will do! I don't see why it wouldn't, as I understand it the linkages are identical.

Hmm, I just ordered Inokinetic's shiftR111 with 19% throw reduction.
Not sure if anybody is testing this out?
