Left over Caterhams for sale

Anyone know anything about the ex Caterham dealer in Colorado who is selling two new leftovers sans engines/gearboxes on Ebay. Has no Ebay history.

Can you link to the add? I could take a look if they are in the Denver area and you want confirmation they are real.

I really have not followed what has gone on with Caterham.

I don't know how many 40-100k cars without doors you can sell a year, so no surprise that plans of increased sales did not work out

When I restored my S2, Caterham and my local dealer were instrumental in getting my many of the things I needed, and have always held the company in high regard for their support of vehicles they did not make.

Point well taken. I've had a Caterham as well as a Series 2. Both were great fun and I would love to get back into it for a reasonable (read less than20K) price. Thanks for the feedback.

Most of us would love to have a “7” sometime. I sure would. But $50,000 for such is just out of the question as (another) rarely driven toy.

Anyone can make something complicated. It takes genius to make it simple. Einstein.

for 50k you can get a really nice Evora. Here in Colorado where you need cruise at 75mph they are not practical. the wind buffeting is too much to deal with
