I fitted one side today - I fought with the bolt in the rubber grommet in the clam on the other one so gave up for the evening....

To make myself feel better I took a quick vid of the upgrade vs the xenon I had in there on the left side. You can see the high beams and driving lights come on with the high beam. The weird thing is the xenon is brighter with OREs upgrade

I'm having issues getting the video to embed....

With your setup you should have 3 sets of high beams. That's why it seems brighter. Right now your passenger side has 3 high beams vs the 2 on your drivers.

Didn't think of that! but the light looks whiter/clearer also - which isn't a bad thing.

I can't wait to bolt it all back together and get it out.

Anyone else?

It is really a stand up type of company that realizes that the customers are having issues and will fabricate the part to fix the issue. That is really solid work ethic and honorable customer service. THANK YOU

definitely thanks!

and just to double check, I need both also - one for each side

Garage
Please add my name to the custom bolt list.

I delayed installing my kit until after LOG34 for fear of disabling the headlights entirely.

LOG is a fond memory, it gets dark early, the weather in SC is perfect this time of year, and I'd like to install my new lights!

Apologies for the confusion; I'm referring to the lights (more specifically, the 'kit')

Sooooo

I took the car out tonight to test the lights and see the difference.

I rigged the broken bolts to try it, so the lights are not set properly.

It also turns out my hid bulbs are somehow mismatched so that explains that

So not an ideal test but good enough for me to see how well the conversion works.

The lights are currently set way too low on the dipped beam but then I put the highs on, and wow! Better than the Evoras (which are great) and at least as good as the bixenons on our A5. It's a huge improvement and everyone should look into the upgrade.

I had some random flickering that I need to solve but my bulbs are old so it most likely them. Once the bolts and the bulbs come in I'll reset everything but for anyone wondering about the kit, the difference is literally night and day

I know this is an older thread but some of us are just getting these now and I wanted to at least contribute a little to any on the fence about upgrading. First, just order the adjustment screws because they are gonna break. Second, I attached a pic of my car being halfway through the install, the light on the left has the new HID light and the one on the right is stock. Like everyone you can see a difference. I hope it helps if you are o. The fence. Cheers.

I too just installed these and am extremely happy with the amount of light going down range. Iím really happy that included in the order are the replacements for the screws and nuts I broke during disassembly.
