Post Planning any mods?

I thought it might be fun to start a thread where we post what mods we've got planned for our Elises. Sort of an idea pool I guess. Here are my medium-long term plans:
  • Quicksilver exhaust
  • Twin stripes in Old English White
  • Painted centre console (Racing Green)
  • Union Jack badges on front wings
  • Upgrade speakers
  • Alpine iPod stereo
  • Some kind of radar detector...

edited to add:
- harness bar

I'm planning to extract a car from LCUSA. Somhow smuggle it into California, then modify it with my TYPE 111 California plate. Don't tell me thats impossible, where there's a will theres a way.

I just want the sound to be a little deeper but not overly obnoxious. From what I have read here the Stage 2 is a bit on the overly loud side. My dealer said that the Stage 1 is a step down from the 2 in sound but a step above the stock. Seems like a happy medium.

I hope to accomplish all this eventually. I don't even want to know how much all this will cost.

INTERIOR
1) Remove Radio and Speakers
2) ReVerie CF Seats
3) CF Inner Door Panels
4) Harness Bar and Harnesses
5) Fire Extinguisher
6) Sparco steering wheel with quick release
7) Body color matching shifter housing
8) Radar & laser detector

ENGINE
1) Arqray Ti exhaust, sport cat, headers
2) ITG/ReVerie intake
3) CF engine cover set
4) Lightweight battery

EXTERIOR
1) black LSS rims
2) black diffuser maybe CF diffuser with rear panel eliminator
3) xenon conversion
4) smoke front indicators and taillights

I'm sure there's more stuff.

I was in your shoes, thinking the stage 2 might be too loud and considering the stage 1.

However, I just got the stage 2...

It is actually not as loud as I was anticipating! In fact, I wish it was a bit louder!

I think I really need to hear both of them. Unfortunatly no one around me has any of these mods so I am left trying to guestimate. Is the stage 2 something that I am going to regret if I just want a touch more sound?

My dealer says there is so I guess there is. Plus how can you have a stage 2 if there is no stage 1 Must be that damn new math again.

If you don't like it you could always revert to your original exhaust and sell the stage 2. I'm sure there would be plenty of interested buyers on this forum. Also if you get the Stage 2 remember to give it time for the inerior to get sooted. I noticed mine toned down after 500-600 miles.

Cool vistatical, I'm glad it's not too loud as sound, like music is a
subjective thing.

Great, now EVERYONE in Austin will have the Quicksilver

I guess my mods would be as follows:

1. Quicksilver Exhaust (Done)
2. Paint engine cover red/silver (Done)
3. Upgrade headlight bulbs
4. Exige type mesh for front grille and radiator vents (if someone makes one)
5. Exige type side vents
6. Maybe a cold air intake if one can make proven HP
7. Change speakers and add a small sub (Clarion makes a perfect one)

Thats about it I guess. I'd also love a carbon fibre splitter and exige type rear wing, but I'll have to wait and see if someone comes up with a good looking solution.
