What color to get?!?!

So I have committed to selling my spyder and hoarding money away for a big down payment on an elise but I'm torn on something as simple as color... which for me is a big deal. I'm bias towards solar yellow since that is the color of my spyder, but I'm also looking into krypton green and chrome orange... and as amazing as the car looks in white, I just don't think that is a good color for a sports car. This might not be the best place to ask opinions about this subject since everyone here will be bias to their color, but to me that just means that you liked that color so much that you bought one.

Also, on an unrelated note, how wise do you guys think it would be to pick up an '05 with a katana SC as opposed to buying one stock and doing it myself a few years down the road???

Of your choices, Krypton Green. It's wild in person.

The only one in KG I've ever seen in person was passing me in the opposite direction so I didn't get a good look at it. From pictures it looks awesome though, I almost wish it was a richer brighter green though.

I will I've found it impossible to judge elise colors in photos--you pretty much have to see it in person to know how much you'll like it. For example, I haven't been a big fan of sports cars in black, but saw a starlight in person the other day and it was stunning on the elise.

I know a member on here who has a CO exige and it looks awesome, which is why it is in the running, but I can't get KG out of my head.

KG is better because it is much less common than yellow and orange. I am KG envious...

Wow... votes are tied right now for all 3 options. Glad I'm not the only one having a hard time deciding... anyone else have this problem or was the choice pretty obvious for everyone else?

Having seen several colors before I bought mine, I chose red. However, I originally wanted Chrome Orange. I was disappointed with CO in overcast weather, though. It looked dull to me. It really needs the sun to make it pop. We don't always have that here in Orr-ee-Gun.

In short, how's the weather there??

Seems like I always see CO and KG. . . I say SY from your choices, but if it were me choosing again I would get something that I never see. . . maybe Arctic White or British Racing Green (one of the originals, but I have only seen it once and it was beautiful!).

- 05 Ardent Red Elise
- 01 Acura TL
- 98 Cadillac Deville- Commuter/Drunk Tank

The weather here is one of the main reasons why people move away from Rochester (Crotch-ester) forever. In the summer I've got no complaints, but the winter... not so good.

Arctic white does look amazing... I'm still torn. I thought the general consensus would lean one way or the other but its not looking that way.

Do AW with Red interior and green stripes with a yellow pinstripe around the green. That will give you an amazing look and the loud look it seems like you are leaning towards. Plus it would be even more unique. Oh and I say put the Katana in yourself down the road. . . that way you can learn the limits of the car and determine when you can handle a bit more power. Plus better installs by then probably. . .

It's funny how different areas collect different colors. Around here I've only seen 1 KG, 1 or 2 CO, 1 or 2 MB.

Saffron Yellow covers nearly every other car I've seen in this area. It's very popular in this state. My Ardent is quite rare in comparison.

ok here is what I found! Didnt even have to use the generator since others had already done the combo. . . the first is just with green, but no red interior. . . the second it the striping I talked about and imagine it with red interior. I think it is sexy as hell plus a great homage to Lotus! I want it!!!
