It doesn't look that bad. Red leather is off, but the new paint looks good.

My line is never wrong, it just doesn't always correspond with the asphalt.

Great job on the Stage II exhaust install. Instead of cutting the opening, they just placed the diffuser on top of it and screwed it on.

The orange/red combo is a bit vomit-inducing.

The stripes could have been done well, but the sides were not executed very well.

I give it a 5

CF center console, yellow housing for the AC switches and red leather. Never mind the crappy blending of 2 seperate yellows on the external paintjob and the botched exhaust. That thing is FUGLY.

Hey, at least the tasteless moron blacked out the headlights...no sense in actually being able to see where you're going at night. Oh, now I remember. The OEM headlights are so good that blocking 75% or so of the light isn't even noticeable.

Idiots who black out their headlights or taillights should have their driver's licenses revoked and their cars crushed. What possesses these people to so drastically reduce their ability to see and other driver's ability to see them? Oh, now I remember on that one, too...it looks cool. In a worthless teenager sort of way, anyway.

Wouldn't be bad if it was painted a color like black, but yellow on orange? And to top it off, the red leather is hideous on this car.

This car is an abomination.

I imagine the stage II is like that because the rear diffuser was replaced and he was too cheap/lazy to cut the hole again. I bet it rattles like crazy.

I don't think it's really "ugly", just sort of strange and yucky in a vomit into my mouth sort of way.

You're right. It's still an Elise and we should still treat it as one of our own...

Very....,well,... different....
I've seen a SY Lotus with red leather before, and I personally did not think it looks any good.
But different people have different tastes I guess...
The guy with the SY / red told me he had to put a signifficant amount of money down when he ordered it because the dealer thought it's a strange combination...

If I die, my biggest fear is that my wife sells all my toys for the price I told her I bought them for...

I hope someone buys that car to get it out of this guys hands, and lovingly restores it - I can't stand to think there are Elises out there in the hands of these kind of people... Even his written English is appalling (couldn't he find someone to proof read before he put that auction up?).

Lotus dealers should require people to take an IQ test before they can buy one.

Thanks!

Rom.
