Elise MkII Videoclip

Hello,

i made a short movie of a friends Lotus Elise MKII. It was filmed with a Canon 7D and the GoProHDHero. Filming Locations: Karlsruhe Germany, a bit Switzerland and some track footage from the Nuerburgring Norschleife.

Enjoy!

Big thumbs up
Very nicely done!

I really enjoyed that! Sometimes I forget what a cool-looking car it is, since I'm always on the inside, looking out.

Thank you for the props.
The clip was a lot of work. We went out for filming 4 times. The intro in the living room took us about 3 hours of filming. And then the editing and color correction was about 30 hours.

That is so very good.

Can you tell us more about the camera mounts that you used? What did you use to mount the camera to get the shots from: the tow hook, behind the rear wheel, behind the rear window, above the passenger side radiator?

Did you build a little track on the living room floor for smoothly moving the camera, or was that just a regular free-wheeled tripod dolly? Very smooth movements.

For the camera angles on the car i only used the gopro HD Camera. The cam comes with a sucker which stucks almost everywhere. I tested it to speed up to 220km/h wich is about 136 mph. No problem at all.

@rogerawong
I built a ladder dolly. So the dolly rolls on a normal aluminum ladder.
