Lotus Exige on House Hunters International

Hi all

My wife was watching House Hunters International on the HGTV network tonight and David Woodhouse, Chief Designer for Ford, is buying a house in the UK. At the end he hops into his Exige.

Is David a member here? Very interesting guy. Kind of reminded me of Christopher Walken in his movements and voice intonations.

I always found it odd when people that work for big name companies are shown using another product. I find it highly flattering that an automotive designer would pick one of our little cars... but I would at least wait till I was off camera before getting into it.

That's kind of like wearing a shirt with one of my competitors logos on it into a meeting. Just seems

Perhaps this is the major manufacturer that Mr. Bahar has previously alluded to?

He is a really nice guy. I worked on his vintage formula junior race car at the Laguna historic races in 08. The owner of west race cars was friends with him. David designed the new west wx10 bodywork. This was all done as a favor using fords resources. He likes cars of all makes and he is also a brit. So it would not surprise me to see him driving a lotus.

I feel you should be able to spend your money how you please. Lotus cannot be compared to a ford or any of its products.

It's not like he is driving a corvette

Anyone have a link? I'm lazy.

I recall another HHI (my wife loves that show) where a chubby English dude who lived in an amazing castle in the country was looking for a 1M plus pound flat in London.

They showed him pull away in a silver Carrera GT.

I used to watch that show a lot. Families from say Phoenix, buying 'getaway' homes in the Domenican Republic! We have a lake home and maybe get there 6 weekends a year. I'd like to see the follow up episode of 'House Sellers International - Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time'
