This commercial is difficult if not impossible to understand without local knowledge. For instance, the woman allegedly driving the car (you can see her hands on the wheel and shifting while the handbrake is up
, also her watch is at 12:05 at two separate segments) and who at the end is identifiable uttering the words "Let's be 'avin you Lotus!" is Delia Smith who holds a majority shareholding interest in the Norwich football club. The phrase goes back to an event that occurred in 2005 during a Premier League battle with Man City when she grabbed the microphone from the club announcer and belted out "A message for the best football supporters in the world: we need a 12th man here. Where are you? Where are you? Let's be 'avin' you! Come on!" The video editing is pretty poor as the cutaways are much to quick to understand on casual observation. When I first viewed the ad it gave the impression that the passenger (ex-footballer Darren Huckerby) was wearing those white high heeled shoes while stepping out of the car. If there was better continuity this could easily have been corrected.
