Lotus Hits Hollywood

Now it’s joined on the red carpet by three new starlets – Elise, Elan and Eterne – hot young numbers that have had Variety and TMZ buzzing.

We took them up to the Hills to our rented Pierre Koenig pad, invited our leggiest neighbours, and made cocktails by the pool. Purienne brought his camera. The girls took in the view and topped up their tans. The stars felt right at home amid the beauty and modernism, and were able to relax away from the limelight.

Robert Evans, Dashiell Hammett, David Lynch, Frank Lloyd Wright, Raymond Chandler, Bret Easton Ellis, and Hunter S. Thompson heard the ruckus and rang the doorbell. Things got pretty wild.

The afternoon became a cover story. The stars and their entourage went joyriding on Mulholland Drive. The girls didn’t bother changing. Maybe it was lust for fame – or proximity to it – swaying their judgment. We parked and watched the sun recede behind Century City, waiting for a text that would lead us that night’s celebrity soiree.

I was surprised that no one mentioned the Vanity Fair write-up of the new Lotus models. I wonder if the marketers payed for the placement of the short column with pictures? Trendy luxury products are mentioned there monthly.

Are they required to have a plate on when driving on public roads? If so, looks like they over looked that before the shoot. Or, wanted to play up the California theme but then they should have taken off the plate underneath it.

Are the concepts drivable, I know the Eterne was only a clay buck but didn't think the others were street drivable

I like that hot nippular brunette in the baby Lambo. Oh wait, that's an Elise? Ooops.

Although it's a departure from what we know as Lotus, that Elite is sexy as hell.

BTW - anyone see that Rock movie 'Faster'? Maggie Grace drives a Saffron Elise in it.

Better more gratuitous pic:

+1, I thought the concepts were either clay bucks or barely able to move under their own power.

Me thinks the story is a bit made up....literary license.
