Exactly the same story I got when I called the Minneapolis dealer today.
Ouch that sucks! I just had the failure over the weekend and here we go now!
I saw this thread like 2 weeks ago, shoulda got started then. Luckily I was just leaving a Friends, following the fiancé in a 25 mph zone. All of a sudden Oil light started to flicker.
Soon as I saw that I shut it down and coasted to the side of the road. I knew what it was before I even got out. Then when I did get out I saw the oil running down the passenger side of my car.. I looked back down the road and you could see the drip trail.
There was no oil in my friends driveway though, it went from leak free to complete fail in less than a mile.
Called triple AAA, 14 dollar tow. The guys house I broke down in front of actually worked on a exige before cause his friend had one "they were car guys"! We had a blast waiting for the tow truck!
I am gonna call the numbers from that pdf and see where I can get. Its off season for me but Man that would suck if I had to wait to get it fixed...
Gonna try out this new Pittsburgh dealership if I can get a part sent..
P.s beyond the obvious is there any way to confirm the line is broken? is there somewhere I can see the line without disassembling the car?
I am thinking maybe to take of some under tray panels. Do then need to remove the clam to get to the lines?
