I don't think those will work on a Lotus.

Based on what information?

This is a track only setup, You could put 500 Springs in the Front and 700 on the rear would be a strong setup for a race car. There are companies that dyno tune them to a specific vehicle, if you really want to dial them in.

How do you know they'd physically fit and are the right length for a lotus?
Why aren't you selling these on a Ford Focus website.

This seems like an extremely odd thing to sell on a lotus website.

Well, the Elise uses coilovers and you are selling struts. They physically will not bolt to the car.

I'm sure they will fit in the trunk or the passenger seat, just not attached to the suspension.

Upon opening this thread, I got the same feeling I get when I search craigslist for "porsche" and it returns a bunch of pictures of civics

This is what Penskeís look like for Lotus Elise/Exige, and itís a very tight fit at this size. I donít think what you have would fit anything here without a lot of cutting and custom everything.

You guys are tough. It's easy to see how the OP may have mistaken these struts for the shocks required for the Elise. The Focus and Elise are nearly the exact same car. In fact, I believe several of the designers working on the Elise were disillusioned during the development process and left the program to fulfill their vision at Ford. That car became the Focusl

There is probably a very inexpensive conversion kit to convert the Elise's poorly designed suspension components to the much more capable Focus. These shocks would make the perfect compliment to that kit. A quick google search will probably pop up such a kit right away.

Any local Ford dealer can install the kit for you in fact. You just go in, sign some papers, they take your Elise around back and come back with a Focus. Just be warned though, most of them are going to try to up sell your conversion kit with things like paint protection and undercoatings, they may even give you a hard time and say they were already installed with the kit.
