Evora shiftR111 Progress

We have been working on a shifter solution for the Evora owners. See the attached image below with our prototype. We will test fit this into an Evora next week and confirm performance. If this works, we should have production parts within 1-2 months.

Very nice

Is this suppose to make it shift like 911, or it's too much to ask?

When you couple it with our shifter cables, etc. it should be a very nice solution and comparable to a 911. S2000-like is too much to ask...

If you need a car to test fit I will gladly run mine down to you!

Oh and I would want to do the cables and knob at the same time.

We've installed it into an Evora with stock cables. The client will run it for a month or so. It feels good though it would REALLY feel good if it had our cables as well.

We have one more prototype hnadbrake bracket that I can offer to anyone out there that is willing to test...but you need to call me to discuss (951)551-0900.

This prototype bracket would use our production shiftR111. You would have to pay for the shiftR111 and I would provide the handbrake bracket for free to test. You would pay for the installation. Once we release the kit, I would send you a production bracket for free.

Hmm...that's an interesting idea. I think that the center console has so much trim with the panels that you may not see much. But I think its worth looking into...

I TM the idea

It may not be a bad idea to cut the sides of the console to give a better view like how lotus does it with the new elise.. perhaps i should keep an eye out for a spare set to do the modding to...

So far I love the set up. The car shifts sooooo much better! I have only had it for a couple of days but so far it's great! I got the shifter , cables and knob. I tested it over the mountain pass here and had a blast running through the gears. I will report more once I have had it a bit.

Thx Scott, I'm glad you like it. Here are some pix from your car before the trim was replaced.

M10 only. The shifter portion is the same as what we offer for the Elise/Exige. We had to change the hand brake brackets for the Evora.

Any more thoughts after a few weeks with it? I have an '11 and am not totally happy with the shift quality.. Also, are you on the 2010 or upgraded ('12+ or InoKinetic) cables?

Looking forward to these coming available.

I upgraded the cables as well as the shifter. I really like the set up and I am glad I did it. It happened at a time where my Jeep was in an accident and now my Evora has been my daily driver so I have put around a 500 miles on it. The car shifts far better.
