New Tunes via OBDII Port

We have a new tuning solution that is working through the OBDII port in my '05 Elise. I have successfully read and uploaded a new calibration that is an improvement over our original KATANA2 cal. My car is running faster than ever. If you currently have a KATANA or KATANA2, we have a great upgrade for you.

Our partners have the hardware and software to make this a reality for most of the modern Lotus cars. These guys are an international group who are experienced calibrators on many makes and models. My last attempt, with another group, failed to achieve tuning through the port, so I was naturally skeptical. This time we have been successful.

We are converting each of our existing tunes: KATANA2, BLADE, etc. We will offer additional tunes for Black Dash cars, Evora, Evora S and more. Don't hesitate to contact me with any requests that you might have.

Our Programmer is tied to your car but can be unlocked and moved to another car. It can also be used to Read and Clear Engine Codes so will be a nice addition to your tool kit.

Do you have any pricing information yet? What about user flexibility, is the end user able to edit and create their own maps?

Here are the #s our tuners have seen in calibrations:
  • '05 + Elise: +6-8% Hp & +8-12% Torque
  • '06 Exige: +6-8% Hp & +8-12% Torque
  • '07-'11 Exige: +8-10% Hp & +10-14% Torque
  • '10+ Evora: +8-10% Hp & +16-18% Torque
  • '11-16 Evora S: +10-12% Hp & +12-16% Torque

These Stage I tunes are $1250. We offer 30days of free tune tweaks (if you want to make some hardware changes, like add CAI). This price includes the Programmer - that can also be used as a scan tool to read/clear codes. This Programmer tool can hold your stock file and be used to flash back and forth as you need.

This tool will not allow user customizable tuning options/software.

What are the odds of that device being extended to handle common TechCentre conditions for the Evora? Namely clearing SRS module codes. Would up the value considerably if it were possible to read/clear the custom fault states.

Sorry, but it is a new supplier. We can still sort you out when you are ready for an upgrade - like our upcoming SC for the Evora. Give me a call and we will take care of you.

are these just open flash tablets but without the open sharing of tunes or will you have access to different maps upon purchase?

Now I really want to see an a-b comparison with Torque200. I love everything about my Torque200 except for the slight dead spot at 5000 and the no-start on the first crank. Solving these issues and matching the mid range boost might actually be worth $1250.
