shiftR111s Are Shipping Now!

After a protracted gestation process, we are ready to ship the shiftR111. Sometimes R&D can take much longer than you think, but at least in this case, it has been worth it. The final product works beautifully and looks the part. Tomorrow the first kits will begin shipping.

Shown with Optional parts:

The shiftR111 has been designed for the Elise/Exige & variants. Right now we have confirmed it for LHD cars - though small tweaks should get it to work on RHD. The shiftR111 will work with standard cables but does require new rod ends - which we can supply. If you plan to run it naked, we also suggest our switch panel that you can see in these images. Yes, it fits within the factory center console.

If you had previously placed an order with Sector111, the order was cancelled. Please visit InoKinetic.com and place a new order to ensure you get a kit. Sorry for this inconvenience but it was an action we needed to take. Some of you have already placed your orders - thank you very much!

I ran the first production kit last weekend hard in the canyons and it worked great. I know that you will be pleased with the final product. This current color combination is something that will available for this first 100 kits only. We will be changing to another color combination during the next production run. If you like the Type72 - JPS colors, get one now.

An Evora version is now being sorted. We are at least a couple of months away from releasing it.

Shinoo - three quick questions:

1) How does the stock console attach to this? In the stock shifter there are two (crappy) yellow plastic nuts that the console screws into.
2) Can the install direction PDF be posted so we can determine how long it will take / difficulty?
3) How much more does it weigh?

David,

Thx for placing an order.

1) We have bracket that the two yellow nuts will attach to
2) We will include them in the kit. Intermediate skill and 4-5 hrs of time.
3) No idea.

During the install of the first kit, I found a few tweaks that I want to make to the installation instructions. We're making them now and will include the updated instructions. This is not a beginners job as you should be comfortable adjusting the trans cables. If not, please take it to a professional.

1.) What colors are planned for the second run?
2.) On the order options does aftermarket cables mean I plan to buy and install your GS cables with it (or already have them)? I assume they are sold separately?
3.) You said the naked button bracket sits inside the footprint of the original cover, so this should not interfere w/ a center mount gauge pod that fits with the stock cover in place (before removing it)?

Thanks!

Shinoo, congrats on getting these out! Question, is the optional rod end for using OE cables something that can be removed if we decide to upgrade the cables at a later date?

Hi Shinoo:

I had put a deposit down last year on the shifter, is that now null and void? and I'll need to place an order anew?

1) TBD
2) yes, our cables or the SSC cables. We offer our cables separately and they make a nice difference
3. The switch panel that we developed sits as shown in the pictures. I know some folks have their gages in a similar space. We did not account for this in our design but I think a simple solution could be developed - though we won't be able to get it done in the short term

Yes, the rod ends can be unscrewed. But if you go with our cables or SSC, they will come with rod ends that will bolt right onto the shiftR111

Here is a pic of the OE parts that '05-'07 should have and will be needed for '08+ cars, including Evoras. A gearknob with the M10 thread is also required. It looks like the '10+ cars and all Evoras have M12. Our heavier M10 gearknob is a perfect solution.

Production switch panels have arrived for those of you who like to run naked....

No drilling required. Simple installation. If you can man a pop rivet gun, then you are qualified.

Houses factory switches and ergonomically designed to be within your arms reach. These are a bit taller than the prototype that was shown in earlier pix...

Shinoo, will this beautiful shifter improve the sometimes problematic issue of selecting reverse with the OEM shifter and LETSLA/111 cable combinations?
