My First Yamaha

Picked this up last Saturday. Snapped a pic Sunday morning on the way to the canyons. I thought it was appropriate

When I got home I took off the passenger pegs.

Second Yamaha if you count the Lotus engine!

Yeah, I know it's a stretch...

You're right. I honestly didn't even think about that, but point well taken.

With the S1000RR and the R1M, my commute to work has been interesting lately. Two very different animals.

Excellent bike. I commuted to work for 3 years on an S1000RR. About 4 months ago I started commuting in the Elise. The Lotus is just a tad bit less inconvenient than the bike, but I kinda like the whole routine of less than usual transportation.

"In general, the Elise will be kept in best operating condition by regular use."

How do you like it?? I haven't ridden an R1 newer than 2012 I think. Probably tons of updates since then. May be in the market for a new bike for the wife and me in the near future!

It's a lot different than the S1000RR. High speed stability in a corner is nice, but I'm still feeling both bikes out and they're both still under break in. Going to have a clear bra installed next week, just like on the BMW.

My nasty reputation takes me everywhere

It is admitted by all that he was much addicted to women, as well as very expensive in his intrigues with them, and that he debauched many ladies of the highest quality; among whom were Posthumia, the wife of Servius Sulpicius; and Lollia, the wife of Aulus Gabinius.
