I think you're really supposed to do this while standing up straight.
Stop hunching over !

Yes, I've never been known as a snappy dresser. I look particularly out of place at the beach with my shoes, socks, and white legs.

Anyways, as I keep reminding my wife, "you didn't marry me because I'm perfect, you married me because you love me, right?"

I thought she married you because you were "flexible"!

I'm sorry to post again, but I just reviewed this thread once again and I have to say a few things that come to mind. This is my version of David Letterman's top 10 list.

10. Is this thread really for real?
9. There's 15 minutes of my life I can't get back.
8. The use of the word "trade" in reference to the leg motion.
7. Did we just see a guy randomly swing his leg over his head? Now it's a party!
6. The use of the word "theatrics" in reference to adding more to the "show".
5. Photo number 2 on post #6. I love this one! Really looks like there is some real momentum and excitement for what is about to happen.
4. If it weren't for the photos, I wouldn't think a 52 year old could even do this!
3. SwingLo's post which mentions the unfortunate attire.
2. This is EXACTLY why I love being a Lotus Talk member
1. The only thread more funny was the one about the used red lotus elise / red panda / back problems thread! (that one is still my "happy thought" and always cheers me up when I feel blue. This one is a close second!)

Wasaga Beach

I was up at Wasaga Beach recently and have some more photos to share. For those that are not familiar with it, Wasaga Beach is in Ontario and is the world's longest freshwater beach, about 7 miles long.

The nice thing about Wasaga is that you can be way out in the water and still only be at waist level.

The first photo shows me on a wooden poll with my right leg behind my head. The second photo is my best attempt to date using the other leg. Close but no cigar. As you can see from the third photo, I'm best using the right leg.

Very impressive and entertaining indeed. Now if you really want to impress this crowd, do both legs at once!

Balm Beach

Not far from Wasaga Beach is Balm Beach. It is a quaint little beach that has sparked a lot of controversy lately.

About half the beach is public and the rest is private. Until a few years ago, none of the private section had a fence. Then one guy built a fence. Although he is legally entitled to, everyone in the town thinks it is morally wrong.

There have been attempts to burn down the fence. There have been attempts to chain saw the fence. There have been court battles too.

Presently the fence still stands and has two security cameras above it.

This is a link on the history.

The Balm Beach Nightmare

Below is the August 2010 view of the fence, including some burn marks. After that is my leg trick at sunset, taken in the rocky area near the public washrooms.

Flesherton, Ontario

One more for you guys.

We were visiting a friend's daughter at Camp Kumuntome near Flesherton, Ontario. While walking around in Flesherton we noticed a doctor's office that had a doctor called "BRIAN POWER". I did a double take on the name, thinking of course it said brain power.

Below is the office. After that are two photos of my leg trick on the nice rock outside the doctor's office. It didn't occur to me until now that had I fallen off the rock I'd have been in the right location for emergency help!

I was waiting for SwingLo to notice that my socks were missing in the latest set of photos.

I was expecting a remark about the "less unfortunate" attire.

YOu know what they say....as long as you drive a ferrari you can wear whatever the hell you want

I still stand by what i said before, "i dont know what to say".

Studies show 100% of people die. Might as well have some fun.

My Ferrari avatar was from a 24 hour rental of a Ferrari. I don't own one.

But you know what they say, "the drive lasts a day, the memory lasts a lifetime"

Entering the car

I washed my car on the weekend. Afterwards I asked my daughter to take a few shots of me getting into the car. Not too hard if you are flexible.

Enjoy.

Driving the car

Luckily once you've entered the car you don't need any further agility to drive it.
