Seems like you might like the apparent fad in Australia called "planking". Similar level of oddness .

I just looked up planking on Wikipedia. There was one quote that I found really funny "On 25 May 2011, a student was caught planking on a railway line, in front of an oncoming train".

Oops! Check my post #49 in front of an oncoming train.

Apparently a couple people have died in the last few weeks doing it in weird spots.

BMW M1 at Trump Tower

While we were visiting NYC we stopped by the Trump Tower. In the lobby area they had a BMW M1 from 1979. At first glance I thought it was a vintage Lotus Esprit.

The car looked quite good at a distance. However when you were standing right beside it, the bodywork looked a little worn out in spots.

Toronto to St. Paul Minnesota

Here are some photos from my trip to St. Paul Minnesota. I went through Sault Ste Marie on the way there and through Chicago on the way back. The first picture was taken in Canada on the highway to Sault Ste Marie.

The set of four pictures of the "big nickel" were taken in Sudbury, Ontario. The big nickel is officially called Dynamic Earth. Sudbury is a major nickel mining town.

The water tower is a landmark in Sault Ste Marie Canada, right next to the Algoma Water Tower hotel.

At a hotel in Rice Lake WI, I met an elderly biker gang. I joined their outdoor beer drinking party for a couple of hours. There were at least 6 bikers.

The next two shots were taken on the road between Rice Lake and St. Paul.

Here are my next set of shots.

1. At my friend's pool in St. Paul, Minnesota
2. At a Dyno Depot gas bar between St. Paul and Chicago
3. At another friend's house in Chicago
4. Somewhere in Chicago, a limo with a statement
5. Big tires, on the road between Chicago and the Canadian border

I risked life and limb getting the picture of the tires on the truck. I was travelling at about 60 mph when I took that shot, so I really hope you all love it!

Near Montreal, Quebec

Last weekend, I was visiting a friend who lives just south of Montreal. He took me to a fantastic park in Chambly, Quebec. He said it was on a Quebec (or Canada?) top ten list of parks.

There is a fort, a beautiful park area, a dam and some rapids. Here are some photos.

BTW, A friend in my office has offered me a nice name for my leg sport. He said I should call it "Craiging". Perfect!

More Craiging Photos

I just got back from a nice vacation at Wasaga Beach, Ontario.

I noticed that many of the farms in the area had bales of hay out in their fields. It was all too tempting. Enjoy.

Niagara Falls

These were taken last night at Niagara Falls.

First a botched attempt. Then I was humiliated by a seagull that got more attention than me. Finally a good attempt.
