that's it, for the wear indicator. I left the wear indicator on.

Haha, I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one that messed up a finger between the spoke and the brake caliper. Luckily I was wearing a glove so just had some skin abrasion. One week later the finger is still a bit ugly but on the road to recovery.
