Old r888

Has anybody found a source for the old r888? My fronts are still like new but need some rears in the usual 225/45. I'm hoping I won't need to buy a complete set of something new to have matching front and backs.

Isn't there a guy that has a set in the FS section, on his cup wheels? A lot of guys don't want tires with wheels, so he might be willing to sell them to you to make his wheel sale go easier.

Yes, but they are ~8 years old.

My mistake, I didn't mean old as in used r888. I meant r888 instead of r888r.

I have a set, 195/ 50 S 16 and 245 / 40 / 17 still legal, barely, born in 2012. That said, we are on opposite coasts so no go as shipping not worth the price or hassle.

Anyone think they might be worth anything? Free with local pick up may fly if value is low. Kept them back when I bought my R888r's this spring.

Let me know your views and based on that may put in parts for sale... or junk em.
Not trying to divert thread, sorry if anyone thinks this.

R888's awesome by seat of pants review, no track comparro yet but feel stickier and smoother!
Thank you.

I always hear that you can throw these into the cargo bay of a Greyhound for very cheap, although I've never tried that. As you said maybe not worth the hassle?
