Penske DA Adjustments in the field?

Considering getting some Penskes DAs. How much of a PIA are these to adjust in the field? I have Ohlins DA now and can adjust them pretty easily with the car on the ground. I usually only adjust the compression dampening on them and it is super easy but they have a remote reservoir mounted to the lower A arm. How big of a deal is the hand adjuster knob on the Penske? On the Ohlins I have only changed the rebound a couple of times. Anyone have a video of the adjustment process with the car on the ground?

Thanks
Paul

While they can be adjusted in the field, it is not 'easy'.

Front and rear rebound knobs can both be reached, but you'll get dirty as you'll be on the ground reaching back behind the wheels.

You can do the front compression by turning the wheels to make it possible to get in there. The rear compression requires jacking up the car a bit.

If you are jacking up the car anyway, it only takes 30 seconds more to take the wheel off and then it is super simple to adjust everything.

BTW, I bought my current '06 Chrome Orange Exige from a guy in Flower Mound Texas in 2011. Do you remember seeing another one there?

Cool thanks, AZelise. So you have the hand adjuster for the rebound? or using the adjuster tool?

I have never seen another Chrome Orange Exige in Flower Mound! Seems odd that I wouldnt have seen it, this town isnt that big.

Yes, I have the hand adjusters on front and back for rebound.

I asked because I figured you would have seen my car sometime between '06 and mid '11.
