Is there a chart showing Elise wheel sizes AND offsets for track?

I'm going to take the Elise out stock at first (yes, on my "touring" wheels---j/k! ), but I know me, and before long I'll be getting different wheels/tires for track no doubt.

I've noticed several different wheel sets on the market, and best I can figure, a common 16/17 setup is like this:

16 x 7.0 +30mm - Front
17 x 8.0 +38mm - Rear

Is that the optimum offset if running the OE size A048's 195f/225r ?

It'd be great to see a chart with different wheel sizes + offsets. I saw the chart at Sector111, but didn't see offets listed.

Sidenote: MitchT on here posted that he liked the Hankooks RS-2 (205/45/16 or 195/50 front, 225/45 or 235/40 rear). Has anyone torture tested them on track? How do they compare to A048's on a road course in terms of grip? With a 200 treadwear rating, I can't imagine they're sticky, but what's your experience? Thanks.

Anyone?....Anyone?....Bueller?.....

I think it'd be interesting to have a chart for everyone showing wheel sizes/widths/offsets and also spacer sizes needed for those that require them (in cases where offset needs to be "improved" beyond what came from the wheel maker).

Nice job! I think a complete reference such as this should go in the "UberPost".

Only thing additional I'd add would be available tire combos for the given wheel sets, and spacer sizes if needed. This is a great start!

was hoping to add tire sizes as well

I think the list of wheel sizes, including width, diameter, and offset is great!

I would like to add tire sizes as well, including size and rating, and if the tire rubs, a lot or a little.

Once we have the list, I will move it to the Library once I get Randy's permission.

Offset Measurements on the wheels that came stock with the 05?

Specifically the non-sport pack wheels... but I'm sure other folks would want stuff for other years/sportpack wheels etc.

The reason I want to know is for playing with this little gem of a web-wigit...

Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - RIMS-N-TIRES

If you know the dims of your stock wheels/tires it can tell you things like what the effect on your spedometer is etc...

Don't have an independent verification of the accuracy of it's math, but it "looks" sensible...

Answering my own question... here's a very nifty little PDF from Sector111 that tells you all you ever wanted to know about the various lotus wheels (standard, sport and cup)

Though somewhat outdated, the Seloc Wiki is also a good information reference.

Does anyone know if the Wedsport tc105n 15x6.5 38 offset will fit? Seems to have a higher offset than anything listed here and I don't know bout the brake clearance. http://wedssport.jp/products/english...ble/tc105n.pdf
