Door Wiring disconnect 2007 Exige

Removing the doors on my 2007 Exige and trying to find where and how to disconnect the door wiring harness.

The only thing I have found so in searches is cut and splice.

What have others done when removing the doors?

Thanks,

For bodywork purposes or what?

I just assumed, given the relatively few electronics in the door, ppl took door card of and disconnected everything.

Yes, a darn assumption.

Remove panel where start button is and dummy panel that matches that on passenger side. Plug is fixed to panel below dash pad on each side. Mine are loose because I’m still doing rebuild.

Thanks so much !

I had to remove the door sills too, then push through a block of foam (the dark stuff bottom right in picture)and reach in and find the wire at the exit hole and then pull it up.
