I also installed LotuShiis glovebox cover and couldn't be more happy with it!
My local leathershop wrapped the coverplate, frontdoor and inside of the glovebox tray with the same leather as the rest of my interior and trust me, these pictures don't do the real look any justice. Thanks again LotuShii, without this there would definitely be something missing in my Elise!

BornFast - that's amazing looking! 90% of what my car looks like, except for the shifter console.

LotuShii - hate to ask but I have to... what does it weigh? Seriously!

This is a fair question. It is ~0.8lb. Actually, this was answered in the first page...

I would like to purchase one of your glove boxes. I think they look great and are just what I have been looking for. Never was a big fan of the trinket tray look. Do you still have one available? If so, how much is it and where do I send the money?

Well LotuShii and all,

Bought the glove box sometime ago.

Messed around with plastidip for an exact match to my interior and that stuff is great.

Funny thing is I didn't like it, I actually liked the gloss black finish (how it came) better, so I just peeled off the plastidip. It kinda matches the leather.

Added the Elise badge and chrome piping at top and bottom and installed it yesterday. I added the piping because a lot of my local Lotus pals made comment that with just the black, it looks like something is missing and everybody likes the contrast of the black against the brushed aluminum. So with the Elise badge being chrome, I thought I would add chrome piping to match and keep the contrast balance. Am I over engineering this? Yes but this is what we do during the winter months in the northeast.

I have a couple of things to clean up yet but for intensive purposes, it's all installed. Maybe a half hour total.

The glove box is top quality and the directions were top notch!

Very happy with it, thanks LotuShii !!!!!
