Lamin-X taillight film tint on OEM LEDs. Who's done it?

I came back from a shop today saying they cannot cover the inner part of the LED taillights because of the dome shape and step to the red portion. They said non-LED is easier since the shape is more shallow.
Thanks

never use the Lamin x on my lotus, I actually bought the TFR lights. But I have used it on my other cars and it's done great. Quality product and can be heated to form hard curves. Other cars sit outside and its held up great, not issues at all. In the past I also tried the cheap stuff non Lamin x off amazon and that stuff was garbage. Pay the extra for the Lamin X it's worth it.

I was thinking about the aftermarket taillights, but I want to keep OEM look.
I've had Lamin-x installed on my other cars, just nothing with this much shape. They were all flat surfaces more or less.

I suppose I can try it out anyway and see what happens. The installer said they tried, but the film would pop off/remove itself.

Thanks.
