Received interest from the S3 community so they'll be a slightly different design for the wider bodies - that covers all three mounting points.

ETA as early as Tuesday

Any other angles for this? It seems like these are a lot wider.

So there's two versions, one for the S2 and another for the S3, the difference is just the length.
Both are the same as their factory counterparts so the pics can be deceiving.

Here's an alternative angle and I'll post up a Gloss and Matte version tomorrow.

We'll have updated on the website.

What is the weight difference of these compared to stock? Also, does the split arm make more wind noise?

The weight difference is approximately 4lbs. A set is being being shipped to a client in Germany tomorrow so we may have some wind noise analysis. Honestly I've never had issues with wind noise as the cars I've driven are too loud.

I'm sure they'll be pics popping up, I don't have the V.1s on the car at this point.

I really like what I see so far. In for more pics at more angles with better lighting. I'd also love to see an installation tutorial or review.

Like the v2... Not v1....but really like the pic you posted of the carbon fiber curved Mount in one of your other threads for a different car... Don't care about carbon fiber I just liked how thin it was. May even buy your v2....are the mirrors shown the only option?

Hi there,

I put together an install guide under our Tech Section on transforged.com.

It's a simple plug n' play solution, removing the factory mirrors and mounts and replacing them. It take me about 5 mins but for the first timer it shouldn't take more than 30 mins.

Just got back from our paint shop with Gloss and Matte Black, so here's a peak of the v.2 final ed:

What are those v2 mounts made of, and how sturdy is that installation verses OEM?

BTW, I'm really liking the v2 base because the original plinth seems to need something more to fill that space.

It would be nice also to see a photo of the OEM mirror assembly side-by-side with the v2 assembly for scale... The OEM to me seems a bit too large and the rather square mirrors look out of place with the Lotus line. That's why I really appreciate this concept and execution.

Thanks!
