I had my recall work done there last year. It went just fine. I dropped off my car with Jamie, he took me to the Metro, and the next day I came back for the car and Jamie picked me up at the Metro in my car and it had been washed.

I popped in to show my gf the Evora. She approved. Met Aaron. Nice guy. Defiantly a car enthusiast and is learning the Lotus ropes. I'll continue to support the brand. Best of luck to Jamie-- it sure would be fun to catch a ride in or simply a glimpse of a P1.

Thank for this information. I have an Evora with 820 miles on it and nearly due for its first service. I live in NY. Wish it weren't such a long trip to get the car serviced.

Wow. Just tuning in for this. Didn't know that Jamie was leaving. Good guy. Had a lot of work done to the Elise through Euro Motorcars back in late September and working with Jamie was great. Definitely best of luck to him at McLaren.

What part of NY do you live in that's closer to Bethesda, MD than Manhattan, Jersey or Pittsburgh?

So here is a valuable update...

I called Euromotorcars Lotus to get my rear tires changed.... And Yep there is no longer a dealership....

The closest dealer to Washington DC as of January 2016 is Pittsburgh or north of Philly.

Did not see that coming.

That would be awesome; between the awful roads and equally awful traffic, I hated going to the one in Bethesda

I've tried getting through to Euromotorcars a couple times now and haven't had any success. Have they replaced Jamie? My check engine light is on and registration / emissions is expired. I can't pass emissions with the check engine light is on. Is Euromotorcars the only place in the DMV that can reset the check engine light on the 05 lotus?

Hey. Unfortunately, as of Jan 1, EuroMotorcars is no longer an authorized Lotus dealer.

However, depending on the code, you might be able to clear it yourself. FWIW, even if the car's going to fail emissions, you can stay "compliant" by getting the car tested each month anyway (and pay the fee).

Hey ksm,
I just found that out 5 minutes ago They're checking to see if they still have the scanner and i'll report back on this thread if they still have it or not. I believe I can only get rid of the "p0630" CEL is by writing my VIN to the ECU which i'd tried with several scanners so far with now luck

That is, unfortunately, something that the Lotus dealer has to do (I believe). I had the same code in September. Got lucky in that EuroMotorcars was still fully up and able to reset it. If EuroMotorcars doesn't work out, you might be able to send the ECU to another dealer.

Bump. Looking for a new lotus dealer in MD/DC/VA area to complete an annual service and PPI for a potential sale of my car. Oil change, brake fluid flush, new tires, please.
