Thanks for the support guys. We try to do our best with the inventory we have and Lotus has available.
The initial poster was told of delays in availability of the item and was provided a revised delivery date in a few weeks. This particular item is the same tool used by the dealers and new appointments meant that the stock which would normally be available had been redirected for the new franchises.
As the previous poster mentioned, it's never a bad idea to contact us in advance if there's a concern regarding availability. Typically we can get things shipped in about 2-3 business days from order if we don't have it in stock. Occasionally, things like trim and the alike can take several weeks. If time is a concern on any order, we can often apply expedited service on shipments. We will always be open to doing whatever we can to help. That said, we can only do what is humanly possible. Lotus simply doesn't keep stock the way larger manufacturers do.
As an aside, we also have that centre hardtop clamp kit in stock
