This is all really unfortunate. I purchased my 2008 Elise S/C through British Racing Group, and had a great experience. When I needed a part a few months later, Robert talked me through finding the right one, and pointed me to instructions on how to install it. When I had to do a repair that I wasn't brave enough to tackle myself, he pointed me to a not-too-distant mechanic who did the work for me. At one point, I considered buying a part through lotusgarage.com, and Robert counseled against it, saying that the company wasn't very good. I'm not clear what the circumstances were in which BRG had to merge with lotusgarage, but when I next purchased a part from them, they sent the wrong one, and didn't respond when I wrote to them, sending them images of the problem.
