FS:2005 Lotus Storm Titanium Elise M45 SC - $29k OBO

I just bought the car about 2 weeks.

The car is getting the PO441 Code, even after the charcoal canister being re-installed. I have the Florida Title, but have not registered it in CA.

I have had the car professionally detailed and inspected by my indy. Everything is golden with the exception of the EVAP code.

I do not have time to deal with it right now and just want to get rid of it ASAP. The car has had 8 owners, 4 of them being forum members and 1 accident claim where the battery came loose.

I believe this to be below the market value but will consider any reasonable.

Link from when I bought it.

This is a great deal from someone who has the time for the car.

I have the Florida Title, but have not registered it in CA.

I will help with Shipping!

VIN is SCCPC11165HL34382

I would give the interior and exterior 8's out of 10. The starshield is in great shape. The headlights need to be sanded and re coated.

-Engine light on from Charcoal canister removal (Dealership read the code and told me it is not an issue) *It was removed to install the BOE Clam hinge but the canister is included*

To my knowledge the has not been tracked.

The car was serviced at Aston Martin/Lotus of Orlando. Oil line recall fixed, transmission fluid, coolant flushed and refilled, oil change done at 34,000 miles.

Wow... Someone will get a steal. Danny is selling this for a great cause and I greatly applaud him for that. I was the previous owner. It drove great but it seems like he is having some kind of issue with the charcoal canister (P0441 code, and car stalling). When I had it, it drove flawless without the CC on it so it should be a great car for whoever can resolve the charcoal canister issue which shouldn't be a big deal. Or just remove it again if your state doesn't require smog. Bump!!

Hi, I'm a new member (Norcal) and in the market for a car like this but I was just wondering: Can't you just have your shop install the canister to clear the codes? Or is that not something that's easy to do?

It should be that easy. Not selling the car for that reason at all.

Deposit received/Sale Pending.

The OP had the car for two weeks before selling it. Must be some kind of record.
Not to mention the financial hit he must've taken...

To the buyer - was it easy to clear the code?

05 Elise, ST, sports, touring, hardtop, DBA 4000 slotted discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads, Sector 111 gpan3, EP Tuning Quickrack, Pro Alloy rad, DS brace, HnT pad, front and rear tow hooks, CG lock, ORE double cup holder (caffeine for track); '86 911 Targa (sold); '68 MGB (being restored)

I haven't gotten to that part yet. I've got 2 months to do it now. I don't think it will be much of an issue though.
