Based on the pictures showing the two pot caliper up front and the single pot caliper in the rear, I assume this is the mod BOE does to drill and tap a hole in the back face of the caliper, center of the back piston. The brake hose is attached at this location to allow an additional bleeder on the inside of the caliper. This allows full bleeding of the caliper without taking it off and turning it over while bleeding.

Just a general question about a build like this - does a rev400 and all these mods make the car more into a track weapon versus something one could just enjoy on the street going A to B and back (albeit with the ability to so ridiculously fast)?

It can work well for both. I use mine primarily as a daily driver with the same setup, it is extremely driveable just like stock.

I would echo above. It's crazy on the track, but just as easily driven on the street as the other two Eliges I've owned.
