You guys are wrong, Nada lists average retail for an 04 loaded without nav system at $23,800. linkky:

http://www2.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-21-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=21&p=1&f=5014&c=22&m=1214&d=1027&y=2004&vi =53889&mi=15000&o=80|40|75|27|91|15&z=31909&da=-1&nx=1

Funny thing is my 03 average retail is $18,500 for my prius, paid 19,500 new in 03! Damn wish all my cars held value this well. Hell even trade in is $16,750!

With prudoe bay shut down for the next few months, gas expected to go up another .35 cents, hell it may be worth more.

Just basing my price on local listings. I'm about at the lower middle of average. It doesn't seem right, but the carpool lane stickers can make the car worth thousands more. California is only issueing X amount of these stickers and they are just about out, maybe even out already. I know people that commute 1.5-2 hours a day each way and can save 30-45 minutes by using the carpool lane.
