SOFT TOP FOR SALE OR TRADE

I've got two soft tops. One is as new and the other is repaired but good...part of the stitching has come undone, but I fixed with Gorilla double sided tape and is holding up well.. Also, the foam insulation in the headliner is starting to deteriorate. But no rips, tears, or stains. I would like to keep the pristine one, but might be coaxed into selling that for the right $ or trade.

I would ideally like to trade for a hard top...painted or CF.

Please let me know what you think/have.

Thanks,

Henry

Price and pictures are needed. Thanks.

1. No for sale threads with just a link to an eBay, Craigslist, or any other site ad. Take the time to actually make a decent for sale thread.

2. Pictures sell items/cars, please post pictures with for sale threads.

3. No "testing waters" threads, no "just wanting to see what I can get" threads, no "feeler" threads. Although it’s acceptable to list an item OBO, or post an item and ask for everyone's best offer.

4. Discussion following the normal rules of the forums welcomed, but no comments on price allowed unless the OP specifically asks for it. Otherwise, take it to PMs.

5. If market place rules are not followed when posting a for sale thread, it will get deleted.

I would be interested in the new soft top depending on price. Please attach some numbers and photos.

Sorry...didn't get a chance to take pix yet. Should be able to get some tomorrow as I will be driving it to work tomorrow.

I did some research and it appears that nice ones are going for $800-$1k...one just sold on Ebay last week with some flaws/blemishes for $800, and another I saw another listed here for $1k. I figured I'd price my pristine one for $950 since I won't be including the two supports.

The other one actually looks real nice too. The exterior looks great. The interior too, but again, the foam is deteriorating...I was going to just cut a slit on the edge and remove all the old foam and slide in a new one. This one I was thinking $500.

LMK if I'm way off base.

Thanks

Henry

p.s. Again, ideally i'd just like to trade for a hard top.

Just to clarify, you've asked for feedback on price. If that's truly what you want, please acknowledge that.

Without commenting on the price, hardtops always sell for more than soft tops, unless the hard top is rough. Hard tops are generally ~$1K depending on condition. Carbon tops are usually only a bit more, unless it's a full Mohawk, which will fetch more depending on the condition.

Again, without commenting on price, the views versus "bites" is typically a good indication of the reality of the pricing. My interaction in this thread isn't a bite. GLWS.
