Dream Machines at Half Moon Bay 4/30

Anyone interested in going to this cool car show at Half Moon Bay on April 30th. If we get a group of people, I can request a parking area for the 'club'.

Fair warning, I have been told the traffic leaving this event is horrible.
I may go to the show but just as a spectator.

Yea...getting in and out of Half Moon Bay can be awful on a normal weekend. I'm not trying to drive my car in traffic like that.

...and for that reason, I'm out.

Sadly, I've been to Half Moon Bay during the big events like Pumpkin Festival, etc and it's been a nightmare last few years - the traffic is crazy coming any direction from HWY 280 using HWY 92.

At least twice, I've left going down HWY 1 and cutting across HWY 84 to get back to San Jose. Even HWY 84 can be heavy slow traffic but better than 92.

If you insist on going and are coming from the South, try HWY 280 North to HWY 84 to North 1 and park outside near the school areas. It's still a long walk - it's OK if you don't mind 3/4 mile walk to downtown, but if it's raining, it could be unpleasant.

Never been to that event, but frankly few events are worth that kind of traffic.

I'll be going. Traffic or no traffic. It looks like a fun day.
