SCCA Nats 2014 - spare parts list

Figured I'd start a list of parts, spares, etc. that I'm planning to bring to Lincoln this year. If anyone breaks or needs any parts from my list while at nats, just ask here or find me on site. I'll be there Monday through Friday.

If anyone else is willing to share spares, please post up what you're bringing so we have an idea of what will be on site. No need to post tools, unless it's something unique and/or specific to Lotus repair/maintenance.

Spares:
40k mile pressure plate
40k mile clutch disc
40k mile throw out bearing
Spare serpentine belt
LTS Bilsteins
40k mile spark plugs

Tools:
Motorcycle spring compressor
Oetiker clamp kit & crimp tool
Jack helper

... my spare parts list isn't very big yet - clearly.

See some of you in about a little over a week.

I'll have:

- Spare serpentine belt
- Spare serp belt/idler pulley (the PS delete one off the back of the block, near tensioner - my pulley is a smidge loose, but I'm not THAT scared of it - the new pulley has similar lateral free play, brand new Toyota part)
- New camshaft/rockers
- Shift cables
- Extra wheel studs/nuts
- LSS Bilsteins/springs
- Ohlins with legal perches
- Pair of front brake rotors
- Brake pads

maybe some other junk I'm forgetting, will post if I come across anything interesting. I'm looking for a front motor mount now, just in case.

I'll have a spare hub..

May or may not have room for the trans... (I know I won't.. I'm looking for someone else to take it for me.)

Great lists!!! Thanks for the good idea. I have not owned a Lotus enough to accumilate any usable spares.

One thing we are looking for.....stock brake pads. We just now decided we do not like the HPS pads on the car. Could trade, or am interested in buying/borrowing a set for Nationals. I know...last minute and all....life has been getting the way.

Anyone have nay pads they can bring down?

Thanks!!!

The pads I'll have already have a new owner (Reynolds), are DS2500s, I don't like them much compared to the Carbotech AX6s. I figure they're good emergency spares (sorry, Tom), but if you wanted to use them & it is ok with Tom, I'll have them. Someone's pad backing shears off, they're fair game, naturally, but....?

I have some stock rears and some HP+ front pads. If anybody wants any of that, let me know.

I also have a busted C6 trans if anybody wants it. The trans has a new OSG diff in it. I have spare axles... Anybody want those?

How much are you looking to get for the axles, Matt?

Is the OSG free with the junk C6?

Gary...I may be interested in the HP+ set up. We are down there on Sunday, with practice time slotted for Monday. Bring both front and rear sets along if you can. Will you be there for the Pro?

I hate working on my car at an event.

Nothing..........If your car is not ready then don't go. Why drag all that stuff up there?

You can have a car thats ready and break on site. Case in point- I broke an axle in the final session of the Pro Solo. Without people having spares I wouldn't have my car running for Nationals.

Thanks Blackwatch Racing!!!

I had a spare drivers side axle but broke the passenger side.

Having spares is part of being ready in my opinion.
