Solo Co-Drive near Sarasota Jan/Feb 2015?

I'm going to be in Sarasota from around Jan 17 to Feb 8, 2015. I do a lot of solo AX in Wisconsin and I am looking for one or more co-drives while I am in FL. I am specifically interested in an Elise or Exige co-drive. I've been considering getting an Elise for AX, but not until I know that the drive is what will work for me. I bought a Honda CRZ a bit back before testing, and it didn't work out. An Elise is even a bigger commitment...and I really can't afford to make another mistake (not that getting an Elise can possibly be a mistake...still...).

I know of 4 drivers in the area based on results from 2014 for Gulfcoast Autocrossers and Central Florida Region SCCA. I really don't have a good way to get in touch with them, so I thought I would check here to see if making contact is possible. The folks are:

Gulfcoast:
521 Keith R driving an 06 Exige (Yellow)
107 Ed Y driving an Elise (Silver)
529 Keith B driving an Elise (Yellow)

CFR:
86 Nick R driving an Exige

This is a shot in the dark, but if you know any of these folks, or are one of these folks, please see if there is a way to get in touch (PM). If last names are important, please PM me.

So far, there is a Gulfcoast event, probably at Buckingham Field near Fort Myers, on Feb 7 and 8 that would work out on my end. I hope there will also be CFR events that might be close enough (Sebring, Orlando or Spring Hill) that would be possible.

Thanks much!
B

Hey for what it's worth you can ride with me next spring . I've chatted with you before at local events (Used to have a blue BRZ)

I can vouch for the guy - he's a smooth driver, older gent who won't wail on the car for no reason. Warning, this guy is smooth and pretty fast (He does race an insight...) - he may make you look slow in your own car

Wow...exciting news. If I understand correctly, you now have yourself a nice, '06 Elise getting ready for next season's autocross. And you were able to "rehome" your BRZ. Excellent! And thanks for the vote of confidence...!

If I had a successful Elise drive under my belt, I would probably be looking seriously at Nick M's red-striped white Elise. He put a lot of TLC into it, and it has the nice features like LSD. I'd be interested in details on your Elise acquisition...

I'll PM you about possibilities for the 2015 MKE season. I'm already itch'n to get back into it...

Thanks
B

PS...hey...that's "mature"...not the other thing
