Sebring this weekend June 17 and 18

I'll be there Saturday. I'm figuring it's going to be way hot.

There's an ER autocross this Sunday at Homestead. Too late to sign up for that one.

It's going to be a hot weekend. maybe

Moroso has added a forklift to their recovery fleet. Just in case you stump your toe.

Hialeah Autocross "ER" Event Today

Just got back from Hialeah. Nice layout for the Elise. A Miata guy set it up.

Went out in the first group. Got my 5 runs (yep 5) and came home.

I paid someone to handle my corner working duties.

Car ran good. I was a little rusty. Got 1 good spin. Can't complain.

Got 6 runs in on the last event due to the guy in front of me spinning. Took 3rd but the fastest recorded time was off by a couple seconds from what the clock read when I finished so not sure what happened there.

For $30.00 you can get a bracelet that allows you to ride with someone.
Helmet and long pants required.

Some cool cars to look at. There's a 25 min. sprint race. Pretty wild.

Sign up and bring the vette. You will kick some serious butt.

Drives ed is still open for groups 2-4

if you are in the novice group it is full,

but class room track instruction is always open

lunch time track tour

if you want to work- corner workers, tech, if you want to get paid or get fee track time.

Just being on the infield in a super speed way watching cars at speed and learning from the race teams is fun.

Peter,

did you run with Nasa or PCA at moroso earlier this year, did you have a c4s before this car. Just curious as there was a black gt3 up there a few times, running some real good track times at moroso. 1. black gt3 broke down and hald to be flat bedded, the other was just layin out fast ass times. I spoke to the guy in the gt3 not sure if it was you.

The GT3 is only AutoX (to much money to loose at the track) I have only done one DE in the E46 which was with Car Guys @ VIR full course in Oct.

Hey Steve,
You were correct about the schedule. ER is done for the year.
Here's 2 dates for Fort Myers.
Dec 2, Test & Tune, Novice School
Dec 3, Event # 10 - Season Finale - 2006 Series
http://www.gulfcoastautocrossers.com...che.html#INDEX

It's a shame there are not more events during the fall. A chance to beat the heat.
