Hey all, I posted this @ roadraceautox, but figured I'd share here as well:
For street-class legal shocks, there's a new option.
Please speak to Shinoo Mapleton at Inokinetic (https://www.inokinetic.com/
). He was able to get me a custom set of narrow body single-adjustable shocks from a company called RaceTech that's local to the SoCal area. I believe double adjustables are available, too, but I was on a budget. I was sure to get them street legal with the correct eyelet to spring perch lengths, and overall lengths. The LSS springs fit well on them.
I've only gotten one event on them, but I'll say that the car feels a lot better. Turn-in feels much sharper. The throttle understeer is still there, but is more muted. I'm still working on settings, so I might be able to reduce that even more. FYI, I have the LSD and the BWR street bar.
Tell him I referred you, and he'll know the exact shocks you need. Good luck! The Elise is a blast to drive for me
