A-Street class legal shocks

Hey all, I posted this @ roadraceautox, but figured I'd share here as well:

For street-class legal shocks, there's a new option.

Please speak to Shinoo Mapleton at Inokinetic (https://www.inokinetic.com/). He was able to get me a custom set of narrow body single-adjustable shocks from a company called RaceTech that's local to the SoCal area. I believe double adjustables are available, too, but I was on a budget. I was sure to get them street legal with the correct eyelet to spring perch lengths, and overall lengths. The LSS springs fit well on them.

I've only gotten one event on them, but I'll say that the car feels a lot better. Turn-in feels much sharper. The throttle understeer is still there, but is more muted. I'm still working on settings, so I might be able to reduce that even more. FYI, I have the LSD and the BWR street bar.

Tell him I referred you, and he'll know the exact shocks you need. Good luck! The Elise is a blast to drive for me

Any damper curves provided? I know... wishful thinking.

Was he able to deliver lower perches that place the spring at the correct location relative to the eye?

I was only able to get one chart. I was told it was at 25 clicks from full slow (70 total clicks).

Doubles could certainly help, but just an increase in compression damping alone has gone a long way with the car's feel.

I just have one event on them, so I have a lot of testing to do before I know where the sweet spot is... I really should've just spent extra on doubles.

Yes, the coilovers have a snap-ring style mount for the spring perch, with one setting at class-legal eyelet-to-perch distance.

OAL is within 1" of stock, and you can set the spring length to be the same as stock.
