O LEE O And the future?

I see Kochinopride is finally actively searching!

I still remember one of my first days "out" with my Elise, having a bar-b-que at Junior's. And you, Kochinopride and myself were headed back home on the LIE. I was following both of you guys and listening to your after market exhausts...(the reason I have one now).

I'm setting up the 4th Annual Bear Mtn. Cruze for September, you better be in your new Lotus when you show up (and get gas beforehand this time, will you?)!

streetthrowback I'm not sure if it is, because on the corner of the frame has been bent, so you would have to replace the front aluminum frame

craigyirush Do you know if the car is repairable? Hate to see yet another Elise gone or good.

Wow, that's not bad. I know it isn't 100% back on your mods, but it is a win that they even conceded anything without a previous agreement on value.

What's the plan now? My vote is to get a wirewheel car then spend the remainder on doing it bigger and better for "free"

I had well over $10K in mods and my Allstate policy was written as a "replacement" policy. Allstate had to pay me enough to replace the current car as is. That insurance was a bit more, but the only way to go.

The Allstate Ins adjuster looked at it a few times, said "damn that was a nice car". He did not know how to value the car, so they called in some special adjuster and ultimately they gave me $42k for the car.

However I gave him a box full of documentation detailing every mod and the costs of those mods.

Hope that helps.
