That's EXACTLY what it sounded like. The last thing anyone here wants was for you to run over you nice new splitter.

To each his own guys, this was my own solution for mounting-you guys can drill away. Rich

So you are saying you used tape AND bolts. This is obviously more effective.

lotus90 it will never hold with tape. it will come off at speed and most likely do damage to car. you need to put it on with fender washers and drill holes

The splitter fit perfectly-a big congrats to Abe and Aiden from Lotus of West Covina, they really made a quality piece. Rich

Bad idea with the tape. This works great until you get up to speed.

Sugeray WoW, much to do about nothing! For those prices you'd be better off to buy directly from Lotus! Reminds me of Carbon 1 John...

Porcupine The side skirts on that site don't look like the factory ones do. The vertical portion at the front wheel looks like it's just floating out there with nothing supporting it, and the front splitter looks different as well. Also, $3600 for just side skirts? Yeah no..

lotus90 Side skirts look different from factory ones the Elise r. The front portion does not look as well designed

Porcupine Interested as to weither the side skirts will fit an Exige, or how much modification is required to make them fit.
