Yep clam off. Has your car had the oil line recall done? If not ... you take it to a dealer and get that done because there is a chance they might have to remove the clam to do it If that's the case you save most of the labor costs. Either way I strongly suggest you upgrade radiator while the clam is off, which is what I did.

If it has an OEM radiator it is a good idea to change that
There is a nice post with a camera and forceps that seems pretty elegant

|steelypip||If your low speed settings have been gone for a while, it's probably corrosion damage on the blower resistor block. There are many threads on repair for it.|

AC/Heat Blower Dead
Hi all-- in the last year, only the third power setting (maximum) would turn on the air in the vehicle. This year, looks like even the third power setting finally went out.
I'm by no means a mechanic, but wanted to see where I could start looking for causes to fix. Fuse blown? Bad compressor?
