DeanG I remember seeing a new super bird in pink at the local dealer. It would be great for car shows.

+1 for the Krypton, if you can find one
is it harder to find Krypton green vs. LRG?

I dunno if I really like Krypton green or not. It seems too much of a "yellowy" green for my taste. but the racing green seems too dark. I wish they made one in between. I'd never get a custom paint job either, meh.

theflyingace I actually like this color but I'm afraid if I bought an Elise in this shade, that I'd have a hard time selling it if I ever planned to do so. Also would be afraid my boyfriend wouldn't want to drive it because it would be 'too girly' for him, ha! In my personal opinion, any guy afraid to drive a pink car is insecure about his manliness.
But either way, pinks aside, I am torn between LRG and Krypton Green. My BF likes the orange color tho....hmm. DECISIONS.

Cletus74 I was at the dealer (Lotus of Atlanta) this morning to drop off my car for some repair work and got to look at it up close for a bit. It actually looks really good in person and doesn't seem to give off that pink "vibe" that the photos show. It still would not be close to the top of my "most wanted" list, but I think it will definitely strike a chord with someone out there........we'll see.

PhlypSide Definitely pink. The alternate name should be "Sugar Daddy Pink", and exists primarily so you can buy your best girl on the side a car

Shawn C They should have called it Key West Red. Or San Fran Red.

yoko426 That color looks like the lips of a tijuana hooker on a saturday night. Pucker up!

coolingmist Lotus is overdoing it. Between the "pink" and the California Edition (sorry the cali edition looks like a 12 year old designed the color scheme)..I just dont get it.

Bought my lotus at the bimmer store.

RoadDad My daughters like the color enough for the oldest to tell me to respray the Elise "exactly like that one before I turn 16."

cudacharlie That's not pink....

...THIS is pink!

1970 Cuda convert in "Panther Pink" aka FM3. An actual factory Mopar color, believe it or not...

PatrickShim I kinda like it...

There are some cars look really great in those unusual colors. I think Lotuses look great in those colors -- candy red, KG, etc. I really hope we'll see the Bugatti blue Lotus!!!

This McLaren GTR (#019R) has a combination of bright pink-ish coloar and black. I really like this combination.

MickOpalak I went by the dealer on Sunday to get some good shots of this car, but it was parked in the showroom so I couldn't get a decent shot.

NomisR It needs some matching pink wheels

FLuXeXigeS candy is shot with a base coat (which determines its final color) and a transluscent color on top of the base coat to achieve such a deep gloss, very extensive process, but now they have "fake" candy colors, which is what MOST people use nowadays, im pretty sure even the Lotus doesnt use "real" candy

kestrel74 and......Soylent Green is people.

xtn Based on the pictures I have seen, it only looks THAT pink in certain light. The same way you can see gold in the Chili Red paint when the light hits it right. I haven't seen it in person, but I'm guessing it's a red base coat with a lot of pink pearl in the clear, resulting in a kind of shimmering fuchsia lipstick color.

No, don't. I prefer them not bringing it back so those that have it will have a rare color!

thanx, if the car is left outside, it will turn pink when it fades LOL

+1 on the keeping the colors rare
