[email protected] I spoke with our HKS Rep at SEMA he says these exhaust systems were supposed to be the latest Lotus UK Sport Exhaust configuration (Stage II or III). As the rumor goes the deal went sour leaving HKS with a batch of Lotus Spec'd Exhaust systems. I have a few left once these are gone they won't be coming back.

dnovo i am sure there is, but why bother? This system does all that it claims to do and doesn't have the annoying resonance inside the car that sooner or later gets on your nerves. If you NEED loud, there are plenty of others you can buy. I like mine as delivered and installed by TJ. Highly recommended Dave

Noizemaker It is. It's actually a ~1 mile go-kart track that they're cool enough to let us race on. One of the guys here on LT puts on events whenever time allows.

Also Dyno plot link fixed. At the time the exhaust was initially developed the NA car was the only thing they had. With that said, not a bad horsepower gain.

Noizemaker I have one of these, EVERYONE I know digs the sound of it. The piping does neck down from 2.5". Worried me at first, hasn't seemed to hurt me though. I'll upload a sound clip from a recent trackday, i already have a video on youtube. My tips are sliiightly different, but other than that, everything looks identical down to the HKS badge. I've been happy with it, i know it's tough to choose w/o soundclips though.

usurbrain According to HKSUSA, the OD piping diameter is 50mm.... which is less than 2" :O
